ETF - The Exchange Traded Fund

Mondays 3:00 – 4:30 PM Apr 11, 18 Participants will discuss the history and development of the exchange traded fund as an investment. Becoming more popular recently, this investment vehicle has seen an explosion in its number of choices.

Instructor: Bret Hoag is a Registered Investment Advisor with PNC Investments with Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses.

Identity Theft

This course is for anyone/age group who has a desire to understand identity theft and the tools needed for self-protection. Some information on local scams will be included.

Instructors: Dennie Fetzer, Vice President of PNC Bank, has a B.S. from Penn State and 25 years of banking experience in Deposit/Loan Operations, Branch Operations, Audit/Internal Controls, and Retail Management. Currently, he is an instructor for the American Institute of Banking and a PNC Bank Performance Award winner. Chad Feather, University Banking Centre Manager of PNC Bank, has an Associates Degree in Business Administration from the ICM School of Business and 18 years of banking experience.

On Your Own/ Banking 101 - Deposit Accounts, Loans, Credit

The course will cover basic bank products - shopping for banks, marketing strategies, and using banks to augment “saving for life.”

Role of the Sheriff in Modern Law Enforcement

Sheriff Denny Nau will explain the role of the Office of the Sheriff and the various services that the Centre County Sheriff provides. He will also explain the partnership between law enforcement and our seniors through The Centre County Triad program.

Course #5337 Stock Market Forum

Thursdays 10:00 – 11:00 AM Apr 7, 14, 21, 28, May 5, 12

Through a discussion of the stock market’s movements during the previous week, participants will develop a better understanding of global stock markets and the impact of economic indicators, etc., on our domestic markets. This course is for members with some knowledge of the stock market.

Instructor: David Panko has been a licensed stock broker since 1987, General Securities Principal, NASD Arbitrator, and a continuing education instructor.
