Course #5344B
Easy Rider
Wednesdays 10:00 AM
– 3:00 PM Apr 27, May 4, 11, 25, June 1
Join a group of low
riders who love to ride motorcycles at a slow and easy pace, taking
in the beauty of rural Center, Clinton and Clearfield counties.
The rides will go through Central PA Amish country and other back
roads, with stops at various locations along the way for refreshments,
rests and sightseeing. Participants must provide all of their own
equipment. Helmets are required! Rides will be rescheduled in the
event of inclement weather.
Instructor: Walt Peterson,
the former Bellefonte Borough Manager, has been riding motorcycles
since he was 18 years old. He has experience with all types of on-
and off-road motorcycles. Upon retiring, he purchased a Harley Davidson
Sportster and enjoys getting out on the back roads taking in the
beauties of nature. He prefers the quieter motorcycles so as not
to scare the wildlife and folks along the way.
Location: Meet at
Lykens Market/Gas Station at the “Y” intersection of Routes #64
and #550 in Zion at 10:00 AM each ride date.

Woods’ hike is from 4 to 7 miles, no longer than 3 hours (or so)
and all within reasonable driving distance of Bellefonte. Note:
Participants should wear comfortable hiking footwear and bring water
and snacks.

Continuing Education at PSU and then the Executive Director of the
Bellefonte Family YMCA, enjoys running, bicycling and skiing.

Paradise, off Rte 150 (Benner Pike) just south of Bellefonte. Subsequent
