INFORMATION

Age
Limit: CALL membership is open to adults of all
ages.

Course
Information: Courses that are being held in the Bellefonte
area include a "B" after the course number. Course
numbers that include another letter indicate that they are part of a
series.

Fees:
Membership and course fees are listed on the registration form
on this website or in the CALL booklet.

Donations:
Tax-deductible donations to CALL are appreciated
and a fund is being established for a permanent "home"
for CALL. If you would like to contribute to it,
mark your donation on your registration form and designate if
for the New Home Fund.

Emergencies:
CALL Emergency Forms are available through the office. To
protect yourself, please be sure that the office has a current form
on file for you.

Partners:
CALL's partners include Centre Region Council of Governments,
the Centre Region Senior Center, PNC Bank and Penn State.

Transportation:
CALL
does not arrange rides. The following options are suggested:

CATA
bus pass for free rides (age 65) - bring photo ID to the CATA office
at 127 South Fraser Street, or at 1281 West Whitehall Road.

Centre
Ride - rides to specific locations in Centre Region at a cost of $1.50
per ride. Call 238-2282, extension 450 for more information.

Shared
Ride - a county van (age 60) - Donations are appreciated. Call
355-6807 for details.
To
help you locate your class meeting places, good maps of the State
College area and Penn State campus are available free at the CALL
office and at the Centre County/Penn State Visitors Center.

Change
of Address: Bulk Mail is not forwarded. Please let
us know of any change of address. If you are away for several
months at a time, you may want to call the office and change your
address, then change it back when you return.

you are no longer interested in receiving mailings from CALL,

SPECIAL
BENEFITS FOR CALL MEMBERS
Book
Exchange
-
The
CALL office now has a Book Exchange, which includes textbooks
from previous CALL classes and other books, as well as audio
books. CALL members may donate books and take any that
they want, without any requirement to return them. To avail
yourself of this service, visit the CALL office between 9:30
and 1:00 Monday through Friday.
Performance
Discounts
-
The
Center for the Performing Arts at Eisenhower Auditorium offers CALL
members a 10% discount for up to two tickets for each of the regularly
scheduled events. Tickets may be purchased at either Eisenhower
Auditorium or at the Penn State Downtown Theater on Allen
Street. Parking for events is available in the Eisenhower
Parking Deck.
To receive the discount, members must present their CALL membership
cards when they are making reservations. Membership cards will
be mailed after payment of membership dues for 2003/04 has been
received, or can be picked up at the CALL office.
Trips
Volunteering
-
CALL
is a volunteer organization and depends on its members taking an
active part. If you received a lavender "Volunteer Interest
and Skills" questionnaire and have not returned it to the office
yet, please do so. Extra forms are available at the office.
