Spring Term Registration February 22 - March 15, 2005

To give all CALL members an equal opportuniy to enroll in classes, any course registrations received by mail, in person or by phone before February 22 will be held and randomly processed on that date.

 

It is extremely important that registrations be in the CALL office by the deadline.

Registration:  Members may enroll in courses by any of the following methods:

  • Mail - The Registration Form ( <-- press for link) may be printed out and mailed to CALL or used for your planning purposes.

  • Phone - 238-6113, Follow the prompts given.

  • In person - Come to the CALL office between 9:30 AM and 1:00 PM Monday - Friday until MARCH 15.  Late Registrations (after the deadline) are done by appointment only.

CONFIRMATION & INVOICING:  Upon registration, you will receive confirmation and invoice by mail.  Please read this thoroughly as further information (such as directions or course changes) will be provided on this form.

 

Return the Remittance Form to the CALL office with a check within seven (7) days to retain your seat(s) in courses.


Once you are registered,  you are obligated to pay the applicable fees unless you drop the courses by phone before MARCH 15.

 

WAITING LISTS:  Courses have limited enrollment, so members are registered on a first-come, first-served basis.  To give all CALL members an equal opportunity to enroll, any course registrations received before February 22  will be held and randomly processed on that date.  For full courses, members will be placed on waiting lists, which will be noted on confirmations, and notified if space becomes available.

 

CANCELLATIONS:  CALL reserves the right to cancel or postpone any class or activity because of insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances.

 

FINANCIAL AID:  Requests for financial assistance should be made by phoning Ruthie Carlson at the CALL office.  All inquiries are confidential.

 

CREDIT BALANCES:  No refunds of membership, enrollment or course fees will be made.  Payment for courses that are cancelled by CALL will be credited to the member's account, to be used at a future date.  To drop a course and receive credit to their accounts, members must drop the course before the registration deadline and request credit to their accounts.  Any credit balance may be made a tax-deductible donation to CALL, at the request of the member.

 

FITNESS LEVEL:  When considering a CALL outing or course which includes exercise, take note of how strenuous the activity will be according to the description.  if you need further information in order to decide whether or not it is appropriate for your health and fitness level, you may wish to phone the instructor.

 

CLASS ETIQUETTE:  Out of courtesy to our teachers, who volunteer their time, please arrive on time for your classes and plan to attend the full session.  Do not register for courses that overlap in time or do not allow travel time between them.

 

WEATHER CANCELLATIONS:  If the State College Area School District announces closure due to weather, CALL classes are also cancelled.  If the SCASD announces a two-hour delay, CALL classes will be held, unless members are notified otherwise by the instructor or class assistant.
