NOTICE TO SINGLE TRAVELERS: Overnight trips are not limited to couples only. There are usually several single members looking for someone to share a double-bedded room on an overnight trip. If you are a single CALL member without a partner, and would like to sign up for an overnight trip, CALL will try to assist you in finding a roommate of the same gender. Remember, the overnight trips are not limited to members only. If you have a friend who is not a CALL member, feel free to invite them to sign up for the trip and be your partner.

COOPERSTOWN TRIP June 6th - June 8th: CALL has a single-male member traveling solo and is looking for a roommate. Please call 353-8914 for more information.

NOVA SCOTIA and the CANADIAN MARITIME TRIP June 17th - June 30th: CALL has a single-female member who is traveling solo and is interested in rooming with someone. If there is a single female CALL member interested in this trip, please call 353-8914 for more information.

CALL TRIP RESERVATION POLICY

Reservations:  Once a trip is announced, reservations will be accepted immediately on a first come basis. Phone the Reservation Line: 814-238-6113, choose option #2 and leave your name, phone number and the name of the trip you are registering for. A TRIPLINE representative will return your call. If you do not receive a call within 36 hours, please contact the TRIPLINE again.

If the reservation is confirmed, payment must be received in the CALL office within five (5) working days of the confirmation to hold your reservation. A check with the trip name written on the memo line must be sent to the CALL office (P.O. Box 109661, State College, PA 16805 with the word Trip written on the left side of the envelop. No invoices or bills are sent for trips; the phone call confirming the reservation serves as notice that the fee is due. If payment is not received within the 5 day period, the reservation may be cancelled and the seat offered so someone on the waiting list. A member may register a guest at the time the member registers; however, the guest's name will be placed on a waiting list until the actual date of guest registration. If no space is available, you will be asked if you want your name to be placed on a waiting list.

Cancellations/Refunds:  Each member is expected to notify the TRIPLINE immediately if either the member or the guest must cancel any reservation. A refund policy has been established in order to cover required deposits and to keep the price of events as reasonable as possible. Once a member or guest is registered for an event, and the reservation is cancelled for any reason, a $10 service fee will be withheld from the refund. If CALL has had to prepay or commit to incidental charges (tickets, transportation, meals or other fees) additional monies will be withheld from the refund check in order to cover CALL costs. This may vary depending on whether or not there is a waiting list. If a reservation has been confirmed and the member cancels before payment is made, the $10 service fee will be billed. Payments made for one event cannot be applied to another event. Fees forfeited due to cancellation or failure to participate for whatever reason cannot be applied to other trips.

Questions pertaining to Special Events Trips:  Please note that the office staff will not be able to assist members with any questions pertaining to bus trips or provide any information about reservations. Since reservations are taken in the order they are received on the TRIPLIINE and the TRIPLINE is checked seven days a week, phoning CALL's office, rather than the TRIPLINE, may hinder a member's chance to participate in an event.

Emergency forms: Each participant must either have an Emergency Form on file in the CALL office prior to the trips or be willing to complete a form prior to the start of the trip.
